Cassidy Sanderson is the youngest of three children, two boys and one girl. By the time she arrived, the family already had heartache. Her brother, Devin, is not her natural born brother. He is in fact her cousin. Her aunt, his mother, died shortly after he was born and Cassidy's parents adopted him. To her though, he is her brother all the way. They fight, they make up and they have each other's backs 100% of the time.

Growing up, she was never in one place at a time due to her brother's love of the water. They saw he had a talent for swimming so they ran with it. Up until high school, she was homeschooled with the rest of the other kids who were in the same position she was in. The family could have had one parent stay at home to take care of the others but they wanted to remain a family at all times. Cassidy loved every minute of it though. She was around people her age and never had to worry about the horrible bullying that she read about in books and magazines. High school on the otherhand, that was different. She felt out of place for the longest time until people realized whose sister she was. While it did get her in with the popular people, she never picked up on the mean girl status. Cassidy was truly nice and geninue to everyone she met.

while her brother was constantly getting the spotlight when it came to swimming, Cassidy witnessed what else the olympics had to offer. she dabbled in gymnastics because of Morgan but failed due to her long legs. she tried swimming but she did not want to be in Devin's shadow. after endless trial runs, she finally found something that made her happy: fencing.

When it came to deciding on which college to go to, Cassidy knew she wanted to go to an east coast school. She lived on the west coast of the united states for so long that she needed a change. every school that she could apply for, she did. University of Mass gave her a full ride and she accepted it. Living in Boston has been one of her best experinces so far. She has met so many people that are now family, especially her college roommate Karen. It was aso the place where her friendship with Morgan rekindled into a stronger bond. Sure she misses the sun and the beach but that is what trips to florida are for.

She has a degree in Lingusitics and is currently working on her graduate in the same field. She knows spanish, french, japanese and some russian. Cassidy is currently learning Mandarin. People never quite understand why she chose to become a lingusitic. Cassidy has always been fascinated by voices and languages.

cassidy has always had an open mind when it came to who she found sexually appealing. she doesn't believe in letting yourself be limited to only one gender. she has had more girlfriends than boyfriends but that does not stop her from finding the male gender attractive. according to the kinsey scale, she would be a rating of three.
